Across the river from Atins, on the rather large sandbank named Brasília, our friends from Aloha Atins installed a little cabaña from where you can explore the delta of the River Preguiças by kayak or simply call it a day on the beach and enjoy the quiet of the river rolling by to take a swim. The Kayak expedition will take you along the banks of the river, explore various feeder creeks and the mangrove habitat.

From your meeting point at the beach you will cross the river in a small fishing boat. After a 15 minutes cruise to Brasília, the sandbank sheltering Atins from the open ocean, you’ll arrive at the base of Aloha Atins. There, your guide will expect you and prepare your kayaks. After a short instruction you’ll be paddling along a little creek to a beach called Grão-Pará. The return is via a different creek which takes you back to the Rio Preguiças and from there you’ll paddle downriver back to Brasília. After a short break and some snacks at the base the fishing boat will bring you back to Atins.
